As we all start this new year, it's important to reflect on our past achievements and plan for our future goals. As a sales leader, I have been more than achieving the results I planned for from the goals and objectives that I set out to achieve during 2023. That's why this year, I am going to keep doing what I have been doing.

However, in 2024 I have ramped up my goals and objectives with a higher bar to achievement.

I am curious to know whether you are going to keep doing what you have been doing previously because of your achievements in 2023 or whether you need to make changes to your goals and objectives for 2024 to ensure that you achieve the overall results and outcomes that you have set out to achieve in your multi-year business and sales plans?

For me, 2024 is all about;

- growing Lánluas Consulting’s client footprint throughout New Zealand with TechnologyOne ERP and HR/P client projects and support

- helping ANZ technology founders and sales leaders to create effective sales strategies and sales plans

- providing sales leadership direction to independent software vendors and reseller partners to better engage and grow their sales revenue with ERP vendors

- starting a monthly sales leadership ‘hour of power’ for technology founders and sales leaders

- engaging weekly with my LinkedIn community connections through a sales relevant post of my own, as well as reading and commenting on my connections’ news and updates.

Remember, if you have been successful with your previous years' business goals and objectives, well done, and now raise the goals by at least 20%. If you have not been as successful as you planned to be, then make the necessary changes now, in January not February, and please stop doing what you were doing in 2023 because you will not succeed in 2024 either.

Happy New Year!
